HOUSTON (Thursday, October 1, 2020) – TPC Group announced today that it has selected the non-profit organizations that will be the beneficiaries of the 15th TPC Group Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Since 2006, more than $1,200,000 has been donated from TPC Group’s Annual Golf Tournament to local non-profit organizations across southeast Texas. For 14 years the Company has partnered with more than 35 organizations serving areas in which TPC Group does business. Non-profit organizations selected represent missions focused in the areas of education, environment, health and human service, veterans and seniors.

TPC Group recognizes the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for non-profit organizations that are finding creative ways to continue to continue to fulfill the needs of those they serve, and whose challenges have been compounded by the impacts from the pandemic. The Company sought a creative solution to continue the annual Tournament, and maintain TPC Group’s commitment to the community and responsibility to be a good neighbor.

Thanks in part to this year’s Presenting Sponsors, Next Wave Energy, Universal Plant Services and Baker Botts, and a number of other business partners that share in the commitment to enrich the lives of those who live in the communities in which we operate, we can continue this long-standing tradition of making a difference.

TPC Group applauds the efforts and the success of the more than 60 non-profit organizations that participated in the application process. The number of applications received presented a sturdy challenge for the Selection Committee, which ultimately selected 14 organizations.
