John Harvey

John Harvey is Senior Vice President, Operations of TPC Group. Mr. Harvey joined TPC Group in May 2021. Mr. Harvey has more than 40 years of experience in the petroleum and chemical industry. He formerly served in site leadership positions in Ohio, Texas, South Carolina, Georgia and Washington state.

Mr. Harvey was previously Vice President of Manufacturing and Safety for a bio-engineering company in which he supported building plants in Mississippi and Indonesia. He was also the plant manager for BP and INEOS Chemicals’ largest petrochemical locations, Chocolate Bayou, located outside of Houston.

Mr. Harvey is one of few recipients of the Texas Chemical Council’s Gerald R. Ehrman Award for Leadership in Safety Management as a Plant Manager. He is a graduate and distinguished alumnus of the University of Tulsa and established an endowed scholarship supporting students in the fields of chemistry, engineering and natural sciences.
