Shelly Heuser currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and IT for TPC Group in Houston. In this role, Ms. Heuser has transformed all aspects of TPC’s supply chain—procurement, site optimization, logistics, and customer service, driving significant value improvements across the chain. While serving as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, she also served as the Interim Vice President of Human Resources, where she led the development of the company’s cultural values to drive employee engagement, people development and enhanced business results. Information Technology has recently been added to her scope of responsibilities in an effort to drive transformation of IT to better support business growth. Ms. Heuser joined TPC Group, a global provider of high-quality products to chemical and petroleum-based companies, in 2010.
Prior to TPC Group, Ms. Heuser was with Lyondell-Equistar Chemicals and LyondellBasell, one of the largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies in the world. From 2008 to 2010, she was Divisional VP-GM of Manufacturing, responsible for more than 1,200 associates in eight North American sites that generated revenues of $5 billion. Earlier, she led world-wide Operational Excellence Management Systems, Process Risk Management and Six Sigma. From 2002 to 2006, Ms. Heuser was Site Manager for two different polymer plants in Texas. Prior still, (1990-2002) she served in Human Resources, Engineering and Business Analyst roles.
Since 2016, Ms. Heuser has been a member of the Executive Advisory Board for the Institute of Supply Management (ISM). In the civic arena, she was elected to the United Way Women’s Initiative Steering Committee in 2018; she’s been a member of this organization since 2016.
