TPC Group Annual Charity Golf Tournament: Non-Profit Organization Application Process Is Open

HOUSTON (Wednesday, May 1, 2019) – TPC Group today announced applications are now being accepted for the 2019 TPC Group Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Non-profit organizations can apply to be considered as a beneficiary of this year's event which is scheduled for Friday, September 20 at the Clubs of Kingwood. The application is available online and should be submitted electronically on, or before, close of business Friday, May 31, 2019.

Since its inception in 2006, the Tournament has donated more than $1 million to local non-profit organizations serving the greater southeast region of Texas. The generosity of Tournament sponsors in 2018 enabled TPC Group to raise more than $140,000 for 15 non-profit organizations.

TPC Group’s Golf Tournament Charity Selection Committee will consider applications from eligible non-profit organizations that are tax-exempt in the United States, under Section 501(c) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, with priority consideration given to organizations serving in or near communities where TPC Group has operations. Focus areas for funding considered, but are not limited to the following:

• Civic/Community

• Education

• Environment

• Health/Human Services
